Build your inventory

HomeInvent lets you organize belongings by home, room, box and item. First launch includes a Demo Home tour that does not count toward Free limits. When you add your own inventory, you can replace the demo.

Add an item

1. Open your inventory and choose the add-item option, or use Scan.
2. Enter or scan available product information.
3. Add photos, purchase details, value, warranty information and notes as needed.
4. Save the item and place it in the appropriate room or box.

Capture information faster

HomeInvent can use supported Apple on-device technologies for camera capture, barcode and QR scanning, text recognition and product or object recognition. Compatible devices can also scan a room with RoomPlan.

If recognition is incorrect

Review detected information before saving. You can edit fields manually. Recognition is designed to assist entry and may not identify every product or brand perfectly.

Keep proof with the item

Attach supported item photos and receipt images to your inventory records. Keep warranty details connected to the product they belong to. Optional local notifications can remind you when a warranty is nearing its end. You can turn reminders off in Settings.

Find things naturally

Use normal search or supported natural-language queries to find items and related information. Voice search is available when your device supports it. If a query doesn't return the expected result, try a shorter query or search by item, brand, room or category.

Keep a copy you control.

This version stores inventory on the device only. It does not sync with iCloud or CloudKit.

Before you switch devices or delete the app

• Open Settings → Privacy & Data and export a backup ZIP.
• Save the ZIP somewhere safe — Files, another device, or a location you control.
• On the new install, import that ZIP. Import replaces inventory currently on that device.

Free limits and Pro

Free includes 1 home, 3 rooms, 3 boxes and 20 items you create. HomeInvent Pro is an auto-renewable Apple subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks unlimited inventory. Apple charges your Apple ID. Restore Purchases and Manage Subscriptions are in Settings and on the Pro screen.

Canceling keeps Pro until the paid period ends. When Pro expires, inventory is not deleted. Backup export remains available. Some reports require an active Pro subscription after Pro has ended.
